Wallington at home family photography session at home {Family photographer, Wallington}

I love this time of the year but as the weather gets too chilly for even the bravest little adventurers an at home family photography session is a cosy alternative to heading outdoors.

I really enjoyed capturing this family of four in their lovely Wallington home. Mum initially just wanted some nice photos of her two girls but I always encourage parents to take advantage of the fact that I'm there so they end up with some great family portraits too! Here are a few favourites from the session...

At home family photography session in Purley {Family photographer, Purley}

I love being invited to photograph families in their homes as it's such a perfect way to truly immerse myself in the family environment and capture those really lovely moments of connection. Before too long all those little games your kids enjoy and those funny little quirks become a distant memory and so being able to freeze the moment is so special.

I had so much fun with this family. We started out in the playroom where the children showed me their favourite toys and read stories with mum and dad. When the sun came out we headed into the garden for some swing action. So relaxed, so real - just a family doing what they normally would on a Saturday morning. Here are a few of my favourite images from our time together...

Indoor and outdoor family photography session {Family photographer, Carshalton}

I love photographing families - both at home and outdoors - and so I was very happy to photograph this gorgeous little girl and her family in their Carshalton home followed by some fun with mum and dad at the park.

We started the session in the main bedroom where this incredibly cute little girl just made me melt! She was so happy for me photograph her as she played on the bed. After a more few shots in the nursery, where little one proudly showed me her standing skills, we went out to the garden where her parents and grandparents joined us.

While the family was getting ready to go to the park, I learned all about the city in China her grandparents had come from and despite my lack of Chinese language skills, I think I managed to understand that it was a beautiful place known for its magnificent gardens!

We ended the session with a trip to the local park where we had just enough time for before nap time for me to photograph little one and her parents enjoying some cuddles and bubbles.

I'm so glad I could capture some precious moments and lovely portraits for this family. Here are a few of my favourites.
